Pansy Division was, and is, a San Francisco band. Maybe one of the first queer-core bands? I'm not certain. I met John Ginoli in SF in 1991 who just recorded a great queer-core cassette tape circulating at the time. He, Chris Freeman and I played for a year or two in the Queer Nation days of SF. It was a lot of fun, and amazingly they are still a working band touring the world. I found a video from the Gay Parade in 1992 where I'm on the on the drum kit, out of sight behind the PA speakers. Honest.
